Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
This notice explains what happens to the information you give us on the painting estimate pages at texpainting.primerjobs.com — the exterior painting page, the interior painting page, and the thank-you page you land on after you press submit.
These pages are published and operated by PrimerJobs, a lead-generation and marketplace platform. The painting work described on these pages is performed by Tex Painting LLC, an independent business that is not owned or controlled by PrimerJobs.
Please read this before you send the form. When you submit the form, you are asking us to pass your request to Tex Painting LLC so that they can contact you about painting your home. This notice tells you exactly what is collected, where it goes, what we can honestly promise about it, and how to change your mind afterwards.
This notice covers these landing pages specifically. It sits alongside the main PrimerJobs Privacy Policy at https://primerjobs.com/privacy/ and the PrimerJobs Terms & Conditions at https://primerjobs.com/terms-conditions/, which cover the wider PrimerJobs platform. Nothing here is legal advice about your own situation.
Who operates these pages, and who receives your information
Two separate businesses are involved, and it matters which is which. Neither one acts as the other's agent, employer, or partner. Each one contacts you on its own behalf and answers for its own conduct.
- PrimerJobs — the site operator. PrimerJobs publishes these landing pages, receives your form submission, and is responsible for this notice. Address: 1309 Coffeen Ave, Sheridan, WY 82801. Email: support@primerjobs.com. Phone: +1 (650) 789-5852.
- Tex Painting LLC — the independent painting business. Tex Painting receives your request, contacts you, quotes the work, and performs any painting you decide to hire them for. Address: 4309 Camacho St, Austin, TX 78723. Phone: (737) 350-8970. Email: info@texpainting.com.
PrimerJobs is not a painting contractor. We do not perform, supervise, schedule, or price painting work, and we do not decide what Tex Painting LLC charges you or offers you. Tex Painting LLC is a separate, independent business.
Once your request reaches Tex Painting LLC, Tex Painting holds its own copy of your details as its own business records, under its own practices and its own retention schedule. Questions about what Tex Painting does with your information after that point are best put to Tex Painting directly at the contact details above — though you can always start with us and we will help you get there.
What the estimate form collects
The estimate form has two steps. Here is every question it asks you, plus the extra details the submission records automatically. There are no other questions and no hidden ones, apart from the anti-spam field described further down.
- Step 1 — your full name
- Step 1 — your phone number
- Step 1 — your email address
- Step 2 — the type of job you want (interior painting, exterior painting, kitchen cabinet painting, commercial painting, or other)
- Step 2 — your timeline (for example, as soon as possible, within a week, within a month, one to three months, or no deadline)
- Step 2 — your ZIP code
Along with your answers, the submission automatically records three further details: which page you sent it from (the page's web address), the date and time you sent it, and the promotional offer shown on that page (currently "Get $500 of FREE Paint").
The form does not ask for the street address of the property. There is no address box on these pages. If Tex Painting LLC needs the address in order to visit and quote the job, they will ask you for it themselves, by phone or email, after you have spoken to them.
This form collects no payment card number, bank account or routing number, Social Security number, driver's licence, or other government ID. If any web page presenting itself as this estimate form ever asks you to enter that kind of information in order to submit an estimate request, treat it as fraud and call us on +1 (650) 789-5852. Separately, if you later decide to apply for financing through Tex Painting LLC or a lender they work with, that is a different process run by someone else, it will legitimately ask for financial details, and it is covered by that company's own privacy notice — not by this one.
You choose what you type. Please do not put health information, financial details, or anything else sensitive into a free-text answer. The form does not need it and we do not want it.
What happens when you press submit
Two things happen when you press submit, and we want to be straight with you about both.
First, a copy of your answers is saved inside your own web browser, in a temporary area called session storage, under the name "texLead". This is used for one purpose only: so the thank-you page can greet you by your first name. It stays on your device, it is not a tracking cookie, and it is not sent anywhere by that mechanism. It remains readable in that browser tab until the tab is closed. If you are on a shared or public computer, close the tab when you are finished, or clear your browser's site data, and it is gone.
Second, your answers are sent onward to PrimerJobs so that we can pass them to Tex Painting LLC. We use service providers to host these pages and to receive form submissions, and a Google-hosted spreadsheet service is intended to receive submissions from this form. Service providers process submissions on our behalf and are not permitted by us to use your information for their own marketing.
Our thank-you page acknowledges only that you pressed submit. It is not a delivery receipt. Because of how the form sends data, our page cannot always tell whether your message actually arrived. If you have not heard back within a couple of business days, please do not assume the request is sitting in a queue — call Tex Painting LLC directly on (737) 350-8970, or email us at support@primerjobs.com and we will check.
We say this plainly rather than burying it, because a page that tells you your request "went through" when it cannot know that is exactly the kind of statement we do not want to make.
Information collected automatically, and the other companies your browser contacts
Like almost every website, these pages sit on hosting infrastructure that keeps standard technical logs. Those logs can include your IP address, the type of browser and device you used, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit. This is ordinary operational data, used to keep the pages working, spot outages, and detect abuse.
These pages also load a few files from other companies' servers, and you should know that this happens before you type anything at all. The typefaces come from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), and the founder video is hosted on texpainting.com. Loading each of those sends your IP address, your browser and device type, and the page you are on to the company hosting it. Neither is used by us to identify you, profile you, or advertise to you, but they are requests to other companies and we would rather list them than pretend the page loads entirely from one place. The styling itself is served from this site, not from a third party.
Spam prevention: the form contains one hidden field that real visitors never see and never fill in. If something fills it, we treat the submission as automated and discard it. The form also measures how long it was open before submission, because bots submit far faster than people do. Neither technique profiles you or follows you around the web.
Advertising and analytics on these pages: these pages load Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking. These tools set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser and receive your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you interact with the form. They are used to measure how our advertising performs — for example, how many people who clicked an ad went on to request an estimate. If you arrived from a Google ad, the web address may carry a click identifier (gclid) and campaign tags (utm_source and similar); we store these in your browser for up to 90 days and attach them to your request so we can tell which advertising produced it.
We deliberately keep personal details out of these advertising and analytics tools. Your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code are sent to our lead records only. What goes to Google Analytics and Google Ads is limited to the fact that a step was completed, which service page it happened on, and a random reference code for the request — never your contact details.
Google acts as an independent business in its own right for some of this activity, and it may use the information it collects in ways described in its own privacy policy. Under Texas law, some of this activity counts as targeted advertising, and you have the right to opt out of it — see “Selling” and “sharing” your information below, and the browser opt-out signals described next.
That statement is about these landing pages only. The wider PrimerJobs platform at primerjobs.com is governed by the main PrimerJobs Privacy Policy, which describes cookies, analytics, and advertising partners used there. If any cookie set at the primerjobs.com domain level reaches this subdomain in your browser, the main policy is the one that describes it. If we add further measurement or advertising tools to these landing pages, we will update this notice before they go live and provide whatever choices the law requires.
Browser opt-out signals: if your browser or an extension sends a recognised universal opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, we will treat it as an instruction to stop any sale or sharing of your personal information and any use of it for targeted advertising, for the browser sending it. Because a browser signal can be missed, you can always make the same request in writing to support@primerjobs.com, and we will act on it either way.
If you start the form but do not finish it
This is worth reading before you type anything. The estimate form has two steps. Your name, phone number and email address are saved to our lead records as soon as you finish step 1 and move on to step 2 — not only when you press the final submit button. If you stop at that point, close the tab, or change your mind, the details you already entered have been recorded and may be used to contact you about painting your home.
These part-finished requests are marked in our records so we can tell them apart from completed ones. They are kept, used, and deleted on exactly the same terms as any other request described in this notice, and they go to the same place — Tex Painting LLC.
If you started the form and would rather we did not keep or use those details, tell us at support@primerjobs.com or call (737) 350-8970, and we will delete them and add you to our do-not-contact list. You do not have to give a reason, and you can ask at any time.
If you do not want your details recorded at all, do not complete step 1. Nothing you type is saved to our records before you press Continue.
How we use your information
- To pass your estimate request to Tex Painting LLC so they can contact you about painting your home.
- So that Tex Painting LLC can call, text, and email you about your request, arrange a visit, and give you a quote.
- To greet you by first name on the thank-you page.
- To pass along the details Tex Painting LLC needs in order to work out whether your job qualifies for an advertised promotion, such as the $500 of free paint offer. Tex Painting LLC decides eligibility, not us.
- To answer you if you contact us, and to keep a record of what we discussed.
- To detect and block spam, fraud, and abusive submissions.
- To keep these pages running properly and improve how they work.
- To keep the records we need for accounting, insurance, dispute handling, and legal obligations.
We do not use your form information to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Who your information goes to — and who it does not
Your form information goes to two kinds of recipient, and we would rather list them exactly than make a sweeping promise we would then have to carve up.
- Tex Painting LLC. This is the point of the form. They receive your name, phone number, email address, job type, timeline, ZIP code, and the page, time, and offer details recorded with your submission.
- Service providers acting for us. The companies that host these pages, deliver the form submission, and store it for us — including the Google-hosted spreadsheet service intended to receive submissions. They handle your information to run the service on our instructions, and we do not permit them to use it for their own marketing.
We do not sell your details to lead brokers, data brokers, marketing list companies, or other painting companies. Your estimate request is not shopped around to a panel of contractors.
There are two ordinary exceptions to the list above, and they apply to any business. We may disclose information if the law requires it — responding to a valid subpoena, court order, or lawful government request, protecting someone's safety, investigating fraud or abuse of the site, or defending legal claims. And if the PrimerJobs business is ever sold, merged, or reorganised, information may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction; the new owner would remain bound by this notice for information already collected unless you are told otherwise and given a choice.
We do not pass information collected through this form to PrimerJobs affiliates for their own marketing. If that ever changes, we will say so here first.
"Selling" and "sharing" your information, and how to opt out
Some state privacy laws use the words "sale" and "share" much more broadly than most people expect. They can cover a transfer of personal information for money or other valuable consideration, even when no data broker and no advertising network is anywhere near it.
Here is the honest position. PrimerJobs is a lead-generation platform. If PrimerJobs receives compensation from Tex Painting LLC in connection with referring your request, some state privacy laws may treat passing your details to Tex Painting as a "sale" or a "share" of your personal information. We are not going to argue about the label. We offer you the opt-out either way.
To opt out, email support@primerjobs.com with "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" in the subject line, or use any of the contact routes in the request section below. There is no charge and no consequence for asking.
One practical point, said plainly rather than hidden: passing your request to Tex Painting LLC is the entire service these pages provide. If you opt out before you submit the form, we cannot connect you with anyone — so if you want an estimate but not the transfer, the simplest route is to call Tex Painting LLC yourself on (737) 350-8970 and skip the form.
We do not share your form information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Contact by phone, text, and email — and your consent
This section matters more than any other. Please read it before you press submit.
By submitting the estimate form, you are asking to be contacted about your request, and you are giving Tex Painting LLC — and PrimerJobs, each contacting you on its own behalf, not as the other's agent — permission to reach you at the phone number and email address you entered.
Where the form presents a consent disclosure about automated calls and texts and you submit it, that consent covers calls and text messages that may be dialled automatically or that use a prerecorded or artificial voice, as well as live calls and ordinary emails, at the number you provided, including a mobile number. Where the form presents no such disclosure, no consent to automated or prerecorded calls is given or claimed by this notice, and contact should be expected to be a live person calling, texting, or emailing you about the request you sent.
Consent to automated calls or texts is not a condition of purchase. You never have to agree to them to get an estimate, to get a quote, or to buy anything. You can call Tex Painting LLC yourself on (737) 350-8970 and get the same estimate without submitting the form at all.
Message frequency varies, depending on your request and where your job is in the process. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Reply STOP to any text message to stop further texts from that sender, and reply HELP to any text message for help and contact details. If a keyword reply does not appear to work for any reason, call or email us and we will stop the messages ourselves. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Please only enter a phone number that is yours or that you are allowed to use. If you enter somebody else's details, do not enter a number that is registered on a federal or state Do Not Call list — that restriction is about other people's numbers, not your own. Your own number is fine to enter even if it is on a Do Not Call registry, because you are the one asking to be contacted. If a number you gave us stops being yours, tell us so we can stop contacting it.
You can take back your permission at any time, for any reason, and you never have to explain why. The next section says how.
How to stop calls, texts, and emails
You can withdraw consent by any reasonable means. Any of these work, and none of them is more "official" than another.
- Text messages — reply STOP to stop further texts from that sender, or HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply to your reply.
- Phone calls — tell the caller you want to be removed and not called again, or call Tex Painting LLC on (737) 350-8970 or PrimerJobs on +1 (650) 789-5852 and say so.
- Email — use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any commercial email, or simply reply and ask to be removed.
- In writing — email support@primerjobs.com or info@texpainting.com, or write to either postal address in the contact section below. Please include the phone number or email address you want stopped.
What we can promise about our own conduct: PrimerJobs will stop contacting you promptly, and in any case within ten business days of receiving your request. A request about one channel — say, texts — does not automatically stop the others, so tell us if you want everything stopped and we will treat that as a complete withdrawal.
What we can promise about Tex Painting LLC: if you send us a do-not-contact request, we will forward it to them and tell you when we have. Because Tex Painting is an independent business, we cannot guarantee how quickly they act on it. To be certain, contact them directly at (737) 350-8970 or info@texpainting.com as well. We would rather tell you that than promise a result we do not control.
Even after you opt out of marketing, we or Tex Painting may still need to send a small number of non-marketing messages — confirming an appointment you already booked, or answering a question you asked. If you want no contact of any kind, say so and we will close the file.
Commercial email
Any commercial email PrimerJobs sends you will identify who is sending it, will not use deceptive subject lines or headers, will include a valid physical postal address, and will contain a clear and free way to unsubscribe. We will act on an unsubscribe within ten business days at the latest, and we will not transfer your address to anyone else for their own marketing after you unsubscribe.
Tex Painting LLC sends its own email under its own name and is required by law to meet the same standards. We are not in a position to warrant their email practices, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If you have a problem with email from Tex Painting, contact them at info@texpainting.com, and tell us as well at support@primerjobs.com so we can follow it up.
A note on what the law does for you here: the CAN-SPAM Act requires senders of commercial email to honour your opt-out request and to identify themselves properly, and it is enforced by regulators rather than by individual recipients. Rules about telemarketing calls and texts work differently and can give you rights you enforce yourself. Texas law gives you further protections on top of both.
How your information is protected, and the limits of that
These pages are served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type is encrypted while it travels. Access to incoming requests is limited to the people at PrimerJobs and Tex Painting who need it to respond to you. The anti-spam measures described above keep junk submissions out of the system.
Now the honest part. No website, no database, and no company can promise perfect security. Information can be exposed by a vendor breach, a stolen laptop, a phishing email, or a simple mistake. We cannot and do not guarantee that your information will never be accessed by someone who should not have it. What we can commit to is collecting little, limiting who can see it, and telling you if something goes wrong in a way the law requires us to report.
Please also remember that ordinary email and text messages are not secure channels. Do not send financial details, ID documents, or anything you would not want read by someone else over email or text — to us, to Tex Painting, or to anyone.
How long your information is kept, and how to have it deleted
We keep your form information only as long as we actually need it — to connect you with Tex Painting LLC, to follow up on your estimate, to handle any dispute or warranty question that comes out of the job, and to meet tax, accounting, and legal record-keeping duties. After that, we delete it or strip out the parts that identify you.
If you ask us to delete your information, here is exactly what happens. We will delete the copy PrimerJobs holds, unless a specific law requires us to keep a particular record — and if that happens we will tell you what we are keeping and why, and we will not use it for anything else. We will also pass your deletion request on to Tex Painting LLC and confirm to you that we have done so.
We have to be straight with you about the limit of that. Once your request has reached Tex Painting LLC, Tex Painting holds its own copy as an independent business, and it keeps records of jobs it has quoted or performed on its own schedule, as any contractor does. Deleting our copy does not delete theirs. To deal with the records Tex Painting holds, contact them directly at info@texpainting.com, (737) 350-8970, or 4309 Camacho St, Austin, TX 78723.
We also keep a minimal suppression record of the phone numbers and email addresses that have asked not to be contacted. That is the only reliable way to make sure we do not contact you again by accident, and it is used for nothing else.
Children and minors
These pages are meant for adults arranging work on a property. They are not directed at children, and you must be at least 18 years old to use the form or request an estimate.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a minor has submitted the form, email support@primerjobs.com and we will delete the submission.
Your privacy rights if you live in Texas
If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act sets out rights over personal information. We will honour the following requests from any Texas resident who asks, without arguing about whether we are technically required to.
- Know and access — ask whether we hold personal information about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct — have inaccurate information fixed, taking into account what the information is used for.
- Delete — ask us to delete personal information you gave us or that we hold about you, as described in the retention section above.
- Portability — get a copy of the information you provided in a portable, readily usable digital format, where that is technically feasible.
- Opt out of targeted advertising — tell us not to use your information to target ads to you.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — tell us not to transfer your personal information to another party in exchange for money or other value.
- Opt out of profiling — object to profiling used to make decisions with a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
- Appeal — if we turn down a request, ask us to reconsider.
Exercising these rights costs nothing, and we will not treat you differently, refuse service, or change your price because you used them. We will respond free of charge to your requests twice in any twelve-month period. Beyond that, if requests are repeated or clearly excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline — and if we do, we will tell you why.
How to make a privacy request, and how to appeal
Send your request to support@primerjobs.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, or call +1 (650) 789-5852, or write to PrimerJobs, 1309 Coffeen Ave, Sheridan, WY 82801. Tell us which right you are exercising and give us the phone number or email address you used on the form so we can find your record.
To opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, email support@primerjobs.com with "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" in the subject line.
We need to be reasonably sure it is really you before we hand over or delete information, so we may ask you to confirm details you already gave us on the form. We will not make you create an account to submit a request, and we will not use verification information for anything else. If we genuinely cannot verify who you are, we will tell you rather than guess.
We aim to respond as quickly as we can, and in every case no later than 45 days after we receive your request. If the request is complicated we may need one further 45-day extension, and we will tell you before the first period runs out, with the reason.
If we decline your request, we will explain why. You can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@primerjobs.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will review it and give you a written answer, with our reasoning, within 60 days. If we still say no, we will tell you how to submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General.
An authorised agent can make a request for you. We will ask for reasonable proof that you gave them permission.
If you live somewhere other than Texas
Several other states have comprehensive privacy laws giving residents rights similar to the Texas rights above — access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, and opting out of targeted advertising and of the sale of your information. California residents also have the rights described in the California section of the main PrimerJobs Privacy Policy, including its "Do Not Sell" option.
Rather than making you work out whether your state qualifies, our practice is simple: send the request using the contact details above and we will handle it the same way we handle a Texas request. If your state's law gives you something extra, you keep it.
Where your information is processed
Information collected through these pages may be processed in the United States, Canada, and India, in line with the main PrimerJobs Privacy Policy. That includes hosting, support, and administration carried out by PrimerJobs and by service providers acting for us.
These pages are aimed at homeowners in Austin and Central Texas. If you are outside the United States, please be aware that the countries listed above may have data protection rules that differ from those where you live.
The $500 of free paint offer and your information
These pages advertise $500 of free paint on qualifying jobs. Eligibility and the full terms of that offer — what counts as a qualifying job, any minimum job size, which products are included, any expiry date, and any limit per household or property — are set and confirmed by Tex Painting LLC, not by PrimerJobs. We do not decide whether your job qualifies and we have no power to award, refuse, or overrule the offer.
Tex Painting LLC will provide the offer's terms to you in writing before any work is agreed. The offer applies only to qualifying jobs and may be changed or withdrawn. Ask Tex Painting LLC for the written terms before you sign anything, and do not rely on anything said about the offer that is not in writing.
The reason this appears in a privacy notice at all is that the offer shown on the page is recorded with your submission, so both businesses know which promotion you responded to.
How this notice fits with the main PrimerJobs privacy policy
The main PrimerJobs Privacy Policy at https://primerjobs.com/privacy/ covers the whole PrimerJobs platform. It is broader than these three landing pages: it describes cookies and web beacons, analytics and advertising partners, payment and identity information collected elsewhere on the platform, processing in the United States, Canada and India, disclosures to affiliates, vendors, payment processors, app stores, service professionals and legal authorities, and a California "Do Not Sell" option.
Not all of that applies here, because these pages run only a two-step estimate form. In particular, the form on these pages collects no payment, banking, or government-identity information, and none is collected from you here.
The rule between the two documents is a matter of scope, not of tone: for information you submit through the estimate form on these landing pages, this notice governs. For everything else about PrimerJobs, the main policy applies. Where the two conflict about form data from these pages, this notice controls.
Links to other websites
These pages may link to sites we do not run — for example Tex Painting's own website, a review site, or a business rating page. Once you click through, you are on someone else's site, under their privacy practices, not ours. We are not responsible for what they collect or how they use it. It is worth reading their notice before you enter personal or financial information on any site, including theirs.
Disputes about this notice — and your Texas rights, which nothing here takes away
Nothing in this notice, and nothing in the PrimerJobs Terms & Conditions, waives or limits any right or remedy you have as a Texas resident under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act or any other Texas consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by agreement. Those rights apply to you regardless of which state's law is chosen to govern the agreement.
Subject to that preservation, disputes arising out of these pages are governed by the dispute-resolution section of the PrimerJobs Terms & Conditions at https://primerjobs.com/terms-conditions/, which is incorporated here by reference. That section provides for binding individual arbitration and a waiver of class actions. We are not restating it in different words here, because two differently worded clauses about the same thing would only confuse matters.
Additional protection that applies to these landing pages: you may opt out of that arbitration and class-action-waiver provision, for disputes arising from these pages, by emailing support@primerjobs.com with "Arbitration Opt-Out" in the subject line within 30 days of the date you submit the estimate form. Opting out costs nothing, does not affect how we handle your request, and is not held against you in any way.
The wider Terms & Conditions also contain a limitation of liability and an indemnity. Those are set out in that document; nothing in this privacy notice adds to them, and nothing in them removes the Texas rights preserved at the top of this section or any claim for personal injury, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the pages change or as the law changes. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top and post the new version here.
Any change applies going forward only. A change never applies retroactively to a claim or a dispute that has already arisen. Before a material change to how we use information you already gave us takes effect, we will give at least 30 days' notice, we will make the change clear rather than burying it, and where your consent is required we will ask for it again.
Submitting the form after an updated notice takes effect, or continuing to use these pages after we have given you notice of a change, means the updated notice applies to your use from that point onwards.
