Meet Scott, Founder of Tex Painting
Tex Painting started with Scott, who has spent twenty years around the trades. Having launched Tex Painting back in 2005, what's kept him in the business isn't just paint, it's people. He built Tex on a belief most contractors don't share: the experience matters even more than the finish, because a homeowner remembers how the whole project felt long after the last coat dries.
So Tex Painting tells you what your home truly needs instead of whatever's easiest to sell, stays in touch at every step, and stands behind the work long after the crew packs up.
It's a local, family-minded company built to be the painter you hire once and never have to second-guess.

More Austin exterior painting questions
Most exteriors run $3,500 to $9,500 depending on size, surfaces, and prep. Your free estimate puts the exact number in writing before any work begins.
Yes. We complete a final walk-through with you to ensure 100% satisfaction. Beyond that, your project is backed by a written 3-Year Limited Warranty of Quality to repair any peeling or blistering from defective workmanship.
Yes. Tex Painting is fully insured to help protect your home, property, and our painting crews. Every exterior job also carries a written 3-Year Limited Warranty of Quality.
We use drop cloths from start to finish. We catch all paint chips during prep and perform a mandatory nightly clean-up so you never have to live in a messy construction zone.
We power wash, scrape failing paint, sand rough spots, and seal gaps with 40-year caulk. We always prime bare wood so the new coat adheres. Carpentry repairs can be included where boards or trim have failed, so every surface outside your home is ready before colour goes on.
No babysitting required. Every crew has a trained, on-site foreman. Your project is also monitored by a branch manager and supervised by our owner, Scott Miller.
Look for strong reviews, proper insurance and relevant experience, plus a clear written estimate and a real warranty. Compare the services each company actually includes — prep, carpentry and clean-up are where quotes differ most. We put all of it on the table before you commit.
Financing is available through EnerBank USA, with terms from 24 to 132 months and amounts from $1,000 to $45,000, so you can spread the cost of a full exterior repaint rather than paying it all at once. We walk you through the payment schedule during your free written estimate, with everything laid out on paper before you commit to anything.
We serve Austin and 23 surrounding communities, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Lakeway, Westlake Hills, Bee Cave, Buda, Kyle, Dripping Springs, San Marcos and Wimberley. If you are not sure we reach you, just ask during your free estimate.
